Guardians of the Galaxy is coming August 1, and July is going to be a celebration of all things Guardians AND a special benefit art month for Bill Mantlo here at Multiversity. All month, we’ll be posting Guardians-related pieces created by some of our favorite artists, and at the end of the month there will be an auction of many of the pieces of original art to help the man who created Rocket Raccoon, Bill Mantlo. It’s going to be an exciting month, but you can help Bill even if you don’t bid on any art. Read more about Bill and his story here, and if you feel moved to donate to Bill yourself, you can do so by clicking here.

Jason Copland is the creator and artist of the great “Kill All Monsters” and the artist on the upcoming “POP” from Dark Horse. Just a few months ago, Copland filled in on an issue of “Daredevil” with Mark Waid, and he has contributed to “Hoax Hunters,” “Masks and Mobsters,” and “Robocop: Hominem Ex Machina.” You can check out his website, his deviantArt page, and you can follow him on Twitter (@JasonCopland).

Pete Toms is a colorist currently coloring “POP” for Jason and Dark Horse. He is an illustrator in his own right, and can be found at his website, his Tumblr, and you can follow him on Twitter (@godownmatthew).

Jason’s uncolored piece will be auctioned off later this summer to benefit Bill Mantlo. Stay tuned for auction information!

If you are a professional artist interested in donating a piece for the auction, please email brian@multiversitycomics.com or david@multiversitycomics.com for more details.
