Guardians of the Galaxy is coming August 1, and July is going to be a celebration of all things Guardians AND a special benefit art month for Bill Mantlo here at Multiversity. All month, we’ll be posting Guardians-related pieces created by some of our favorite artists, and at the end of the month there will be an auction of many of the pieces of original art to help the man who created Rocket Raccoon, Bill Mantlo. It’s going to be an exciting month, but you can help Bill even if you don’t bid on any art. Read more about Bill and his story here, and if you feel moved to donate to Bill yourself, you can do so by clicking here.

Owen Michael Johnson is a writer and artist from London, and is the man behind Dogooder Comics’ second book, “Reel Love.” He has also written the completely madcap comic “Raygun Roads,”, does work for Titan Comics, and is part of the increasingly burgeoning UK comics scene. You can follow him on Twitter @Owen_Johnson and his website, Creating Monsters..

Colors by Mark Chadwick.

Owen’s piece will be auctioned off later this summer to benefit Bill Mantlo. Stay tuned for auction information!

If you are a professional artist interested in donating a piece for the auction, please email brian@multiversitycomics.com or david@multiversitycomics.com for more details.
