After hinting at it for a long time, it appears that Alan Moore has retired from making comics. This is a big deal; whether or not you’re a particular fan of Moore’s, he changed comics forever with books like “Swamp Thing,” “Miracleman,” “From Hell,” and, of course, “Watchmen.” Moore is one of the indisputable reasons that comics are considered higher art than they were 50 years ago, and for that we thank him.
So, we want to know: which of his comics is your favorite? We tried to list a variety of books here, from his most high-brow, well regarded work, to some stuff a little on the fringe, while also including a lot of his early, European comics as well.
