This weekend begins the first of two ‘DC Fandome’ events. This is a combination virtual comic con and fan fest, where DC is offering fans looks at new projects and a look back at some older favorites. It is very much rooted in the DCEU, and seems like a celebration of DC’s adaptations more than their comics themselves.
We have covered all the Fandome news thus far, and the response online seems to be tepid, at best, from folks who are regular readers of DC’s comic offerings. Obviously, we come into contact with more comic readers than we do DCEU stans, so it’s not surprising that what we’ve seen, on the surface, is folks wishing for a more comics-focused experience.
But that being said, we are still curious if our readers are excited about Fandome. So, vote in our Reader Poll, and check back on Monday for both the results of the poll and our Monday AM Rundown, which will likely feature most of the Fandome news fit to print. Enjoy your weekend and be safe!
