The Top 10 Reasons Apple Fucked Up By Banning “Sex Criminals” [NSFW]

In case you still have not heard, Apple has officially banned “Sex Criminals” from iOS. While you can still get the comic digitally through other means (Image’s website, Comixology’s website), Apple’s strange policy about not allowing one of the best new books of the year on their digital interface system is rather perplexing.

Honestly. We’ve reviewed every issue, and every single time we come to the same conclusion: this is one of the funniest, most sincere books on the market that despite it’s adult-oriented content with the nudity and the floating cum and all that, it’s easily the most relatable book out there. Some of it might seem abrasive at first to those who are not as comfortable with sexuality, but those of you who are willing to look beneath the surface will find a hidden gem of the read that mixes the quirky strange authenticity of (500) Days of Summer with all your favorite parts of Axel Braun’s filmography. (But more so the latter.)

So, for simplicity’s sake, we’re going to present to you a BuzzFeed style picture post about why we love “Sex Criminals” so damn much and feel the need to write about it pretty much weekly. Yes, it’s one of those types of post — the least journalistic we could possibly be, but also the easiest to digest and enjoy and pass along. We’re going to show you, in a few excerpts from the book, why “Sex Criminals” is great, and I find it hard to believe that by the end of it you won’t want to go and grab the issues to read, let alone re-read the issues you already own for the zillionth time.

Without further ado…

10. Because we’re ASKING FOR A FRIEND

9. Because we can relate to feeling alone

8. Because we’ve had those text message conversations

7. Because everything is awful

6. Because of this fucking guy

5. Because of Benny Hill gags

4. Because of bonors with boobi

3. Because of meet-cutes

2. Because of the things we can learn

1. And because of the sweetest/bestest Queen-related sequences of all time

Oh, and because you can watch Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks bone in a Kevin Smith film, but not see cartoon bonors with boobi

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
