Image offers another sneak peak teaser picture, and maybe I’m just being super slow at putting two and two together today, but I’m thinking these are all part of the same series. We have the First Daughter with Superpowers, then the cuticled urban vigilante, and now this guy: Vesuvius. He looks like a play on The Thing and Ghost Rider.
Despite all the Dutch angles, I’m into the artwork. It has this old school Disney look to it: very vibrant and expressive an active.
I’m more than a little annoyed that there still hasn’t been any mention of the people working on this book. Like I mentioned in the tease from yesterday, Image is all about being the house where creators can go to tell the stories they want to tell. I know that for myself, as a reader, I’m probably going to follow a writer or artist or even colorist before I start thinking about the concept. My guess is that the creators are going to be a big reveal as well.
