On Wednesday, “Harley Quinn” #50 will hit comic shops. The oversized ‘anniversary’ issue will feature a number of iconic artists from DC’s stable, playing around not just with Harley, but with the larger DC Universe and even the Multiverse. This is due to the presence of Jonni DC, as well as Harley having, kinda, sorta, broken continuity. Over the next few days, we will be revealing a few of the myriad creators stepping into this issue, written by regular series writer Sam Humphries. Today, we feature the final piece of the issue: legendary horror and Batman artist Kelley Jones!

Here’s what Kelley had to say about drawing Harley:

She’s a creature of joy – pure joy.Whatever she does, and whatever she feels, its got a good dollop of joy in it.That makes her, to me, the rarest character in comics.

And here is Humphries on Jones:

It felt almost like sacrilege to ask Kelley Jones to draw horror and monsters with a funny twist. But seeing how much fun he had with these pages, that was pure joy for me. We all know he’s a master of horror, but I think maybe, just maybe, there’s a comedic artist in Kelley waiting to come out, too!

Well folks, that does it for our series of reveals. I think we’ve laid out some pretty compelling reasons to check out the issue when it drops on Wednesday. In case you missed it, we’ve shown off panels from Jon Davis-Hunt, Agnes Garbowska, Dan Jurgens, Brett Booth, Guillem March, Whilce Portacio, Babs Tarr, John McCrea, Mirka Andolfo, Scott Kolins, and Tom Grummett. Thanks again to DC for the opportunity to share all this fantastic art with our readers.
