Marvel has just announced two new books that will be coming to comic shops this January in addition to all the new titles that were announced at this month’s New York Comic Con. The first of which is a brand new Hawkeye series titled, “Hawkeye: Freefall.” Written by Matthew Rosenberg with art by Otto Schmidt, “Hawkeye: Freefall” follows Clint Barton as he faces off with a new and mysterious Ronin, who wreaks havoc on the city. Not only does Clint need to worry about Ronin, but he will also clash with the Hood and one of New York’s most ruthless villains.

Also announced is “Tarot,” written by Alan Davis with art by Paul Renaud. “Tarot” teams up the Avengers and Defenders in a ‘70s style book that is sure to be filled with adventure and madness. After a memory from World War II brings Namor to Captain America, the two heroes along with their teams will face destruction and pain as they find themselves facing the Infernal Ichor.

January is shaping up to be one epic month for Marvel with the release of these two new titles, in addition to the already announced “Ravencroft,” “Ruins of Ravencroft,” “Iron Man 2020,” “Thor,” and “Guardians of the Galaxy.”
