Disney really wants you to know that there’s a new Star Wars movie coming out. In recent months, they’ve published a bunch of new comics set in the Star Wars Universe, pushed out a new animated series, and just last week released the first six movies on digital platforms. (We won’t get into how these are the cuts where Hayden Christensen has been digitally inserted into Return of the Jedi.)

Today, we’re also hit with an onslaught of new stuff.

First, the next comic miniseries has been announced. “Lando” #1 comes out in July, written by Charles Soule with art by Alex Maleev (which suggests that it will be a while before the next “Hellboy and the BPRD” series, if Malveev is doing that at all). “Lando” will take place in the time “before Lando was a hero” in a scheme that involves him “getting in over his head.”

Next, EA Games has been gradually releasing new information and stills about the next Battlefront game. They promise a ton of cool, evolving maps as they take full advantage of the Frostbite game engine. No release date on that thing yet, but it should be out by the end of the year.

And, of course, the crème de la crème of all these announcements is the brand new teaser trailer for The Force Awakens.

That movie comes out in December.

Expect more news tomorrow as the Star Wars Celebration officially begins.
