Long in the works, Eric Powell’s “Goon” film has finally hit Kickstarter for some crowd sourcing.
An animated film starring Clancy Brown as the Goon and Paul Giamatti as Franky, the film has been “in production” by Eric Powell, David Fincher, Blur Studio and Dark Horse comics, but everything we’ve seen so far has been independently produced concept work. They’re looking for $400,000 to make this comic movie a reality, with $100 already achieved by the time of this writing, and for a Goon movie to actually become reality would be a fantastic turn of events for those familiar with the comic.
