In just thirty minutes, we will be making the extremely regrettable choice to watch the Star Wars Holiday Special from 1978. You can join us by using this twoseven link.

Twoseven is a way to sync our watching experience, so we’re all seeing the same thing at the same time. You wouldn’t want to be laughing at the wrong Lumpy scene, now would you?

The site also has a chat function, so for all us wannabe Mystery Science Theater 3000 folks, drop yer yuk yuks in the chat window and give us all a laugh! This is a rough watch, so make sure to bring a steely composure, and possibly the libation of your choice.

As a reminder, this is part of our Festival of Lightsabers, a tradition that we hope becomes a yearly one here at Multiversity. To enter of our prior contests and see what we’ve written about so far, check out our landing page for it.

See ya soon, and May the Force Be With You!
