By now, I think we’ve put together that this book is the upcoming project from Jay Faerber and Iliyas Kyriazis. The art looks really cool and vibrant and fun, and even though the characters seem to be plays on already existing superheroes, Kyriazis appears to have given them enough distinction and personality to keep the whole thing from falling into derivative territory.
Anyway, here’s a new character to the lineup: Punchline. He’s dressed like Hawkeye doing Night Owl cosplay, but his synopsis reads like Robert De Niro’s character in King of Comedy.
I don’t know about you, but I think I’m just ready for Image to officially announce whatever the hell this damn thing is already. The story. The official creative team. Anything.
