– Gerry Duggan (“Star Wars: Chewbacca”) and Aaron Kuder (“Action Comics”) are launching the “All-New Guardians of the Galaxy” this May. It’s going to embrace being a space western or something and will ship twice-monthly.
– Fantagraphics is revealing more of their upcoming superhero shared universe line by introducing “All Time Comics: Bullwhip.” They also announced some of the characters, including villains like The Misogynist, Rain God, and The Time Vampire. The book is written by Josh Bayer and illustrated by Ben Marra with Al Milgrom. “All Time Comics” debuts in April.
– The alt-comics SPACE festive has announced their 2016 finalists for Best Graphic Novel, Short Story, and General comic.
– Scout Comics has unveiled its slate of 2017 releases. This includes work by “Shaman” creators Ben Kahn and Bruno Hidalgo and a book called “Snow White Zombie Apocalypse.
– Ben Affleck promises he’s working on that new Batman movie.
– If everything you’ve heard so far about Riverdale, the CW adaptation/reinterpretation of the Archie gang, rest assured, it could have been a lot weirder.
