In case you missed it Dark Horse Comics is planning a “Zootopia” comic, Marvel revealed which X-Men comics will carry the ‘Countdown to Extermination’ back-up, and Matt Kindt and Tyler Jenkins announced their next project, “Black Badge.”

– Netflix dropped the first full-length trailer for Luke Cage season 2, which shows Mustafa Shakir’s villainous Bushmaster in action for the first time, as well as Misty Knight’s bionic arm. The show returns to Netflix on June 22.
– Likely due to the Reality Gem, Thanos will be skipping across universes and joining the popular video game Fortnite for a limited time. Starting on May 8th the villain from Avengers: Infinity War and many Marvel stories, will be a part of Fortnite’s Battle Royal mode. During play, the Infinity Gauntlet will appear and whom so ever picks it up will become the Mad Titan Thanos and have his powers at their fingertips.
– Luke Pearson’s “Hildafolk” series is coming to Netflix later this year, and Flying Eye Books have announced a chapter book series based on the comic and cartoon. The first instalment, Hilda and the Hidden People, written by Stephen Davies, with art by Seaerra Miller, will be released in September.
– Prior to any official press releases or announcements, Bleeding Cool (via Amazon postings) has released news about upcoming fall Image releases. In November, Image will publish a print version of Cat and Kit Seaton’s Tapas/Patreon webcomic “Black Bull of Norroway.” Initially self-published then serialized in “Island” and more recently offered via Kickstarter, Grim Wilkins’s “Miranda,” will have a collected edition. Around Christmas, Earthworm Jim creator Doug TenNapel’s 2003 Top Shelf comic series “Creature Tech” will be reprinted. Lastly, Image is planning to collect essays and art from Marian Churchland’s website and Instagram accounts, along with some unseen work, into a book titled”Hchom.”
– After three years with Oni Press as Marketing Manager, Rachel Reed is leaving her position with the Portland, Oregon, based publisher. Forced to make a choice between her professional and personal life, she chose to move back to Houston, Texas, and her partner.
– “Chinese Whispers,” a digital graphic novel about the May 1998 riots in Indonesia went online over the weekend. The comic, written by Rani Pramesti and illustrated by Cindy Saja, uses the audio testimonies of the riots. An English translation of the comic is currently in the works.
– IDW Games announced Gotham Under Siege, the first in a new series of tabletop games based on Batman: The Animated Series. It will be released sometime in August.
– Two recurring characters from season eight of The Walking Dead have been upgraded to regular cast members. Avi Nash and Callan McAuliffe, who respectively play Siddiq and Alden, will have a lot more screen time in season nine and going forward.
– There is a Cthulhu themed short film that is a comic adaptation hitting the festival circuit this year. Eldrich Tales from director Ivan Radovic is based on ‘One of Those Days’ by writer Glen Cadigan and artist Chee from the BOOM! Studios anthology “Cthulhu Tales.”
