In case you missed it, last Friday Dark Horse announced “Predator: Hunters II” right off the heels of the newly released trailer for Shane Black’s The Predator. We also released an exclusive interview with Scott Snyder about his new “Justice League” book and how the Hall of Justice will play a crucial role in the new ongoing series.

– On Friday, Tom Ellis announced via Twitter that Lucifer has been cancelled by FOX. ABC has also announced that Inhumans will not be returning next season as well. The show was considered a failure “averaging only a 1.2 in the demo and 4 million total viewers (with seven days of DVR).”
– Conversely, over at FOX, Gotham will return for a fifth and final season. And on another positive note, the CW has renewed iZombie according to comicbook.com. The show will be entering it’s fifth season and has changed from a unique police procedural into something more wild since it first premiered.
– Whitney Leopard, the editor of BOOM! Studios’ KaBOOM! imprint for middle-grade readers spoke with ICv2 about the children’s market and the new 8 in.x 8 in. format, instead of the standard comic book size for its new book “Steven Universe Harmony.” The comic will be written by Shane‑Michael Vidaurri, featuring art from Molly Rose. While not officially announced yet, the five-issue “Steven Universe Harmony” is slated for an August release.
– Deadpool 2 stars Deadpool and Cable will team-up again in a “Deadpool and Cable Annual” this August. The comic, written by David F. Walker, with art by Paco Diaz and many more, will see the duo involved in more time-traveling hijinks. The art and solicit can be seen here
– In celebration of the Fantastic Four’s return in August, Marvel will release a collection of variant covers highlighting the different iterations of the FF through the decades. You can check out the full list of titles featuring variants at Newsarama. The list includes what is apparently the ‘Hunt for Wolverine’ finale, “Hunt for Wolverine: Dead Ends.”
– Stan Lee and Frank Springer’s 1970s comic strip “The Virtue of Vera Valiant” is coming to the big screen as a Chinese film titled The Last Resort, according to Deadline.
– According to a clip from BBC Arabic seen here, Kevin Feige reportedly has plans for a Ms. Marvel movie after next year’s Captain Marvel.
– G.I. Joe’s Snake Eyes is reportedly getting his own movie according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film is currently in development at Paramount Pictures and has tapped Evan Spiliotopoulos, the writer of last year’s Beauty and the Beast. Brian Goldner will be producing the film based on the Hasbro line of toys. Snake Eyes, the silent ninja commando, first appeared in the 1980s as part of Hasbro and Marvel Comics’ relaunch of the toyline.
– Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released the official trailer for The Death of Superman, part one of a two-part Death and Return of Superman film series based on the popular comic from the 90’s. Unlike the previously released Superman: Doomsday which took many liberties with the story line from the comics, mostly due to time restrictions, these films will more closely resemble the comic iteration and allow the story to be told over two movies as opposed to 70 minutes. You can view the trailer here and be sure to check it out when it is released digitally and on DVD/Blu-ray later this year.
– It was Mother’s Day on Sunday, and we asked who is your Best Comic Mom: Sue Richards came in first place with 40 percent of the vote, followed by Martha Kent (23 percent) and Aunt May (who despite not being Spider-Man’s mom, still earned 16 percent of your votes).
