– This February will see the release of the newest Steven Universe ongoing series! Written by Melanie Gillman with art by Katy Farina, and feature stories set around the current season. Boom! Studios, through their imprint kaboom!, has already released one ongoing series, a few one-shots, and a miniseries all set within the Steven universe.
– Grant Morrison will start serializing his next project in the pages of “Heavy Metal”: “The Savage Sword of Jesus Christ.” Illustrated by the Molen Brothers, the first chapter will appear in the December issue of the magazine, “Heavy Metal” #284.
– It looks like Valiant Entertainment is planning to end “A&A: The Adventures of Archer and Armstrong” with issue #12.
– Even though they’ve managed to strong arm Sony into giving up Spider-Man, Marvel Studios isn’t getting anywhere with Fox. Marvel fans have long since given up dreams that the X-Men will join the MCU (I’m hoping this superhero crazy implodes on itself well before that happens), but what Feige is most upset about is not being able to use Doctor Doom.
– Heidi MacDonald is asking creators to participate in her Fair Page Rates Survey for 2016.
