Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the weekend. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.

– Following Marvel’s decision to rename their “Infinity War” movies, speculation grew that Warner Bros. might be considering something similar for their upcoming “Justice League” monstrosity. Fear not, Geoff Johns took to Twitter to assure people that the upcoming picture will be called simply “Justice League.” As of now, the film is still being directed by Zack Snyder and slated for release November 2017.
– On the comics side of things, DC has cancelled Bryan Hitch’s “Justice League of America”, despite only five issues remaining in the series.
– Disney has picked up the rights to the “Delilah Dirk” series. Created by Tony Cliff for First Second, the books are so classic high adventure, Deadline deems to refer to it as a “female Indiana Jones” story. (Editorial: these books are seriously great, though.) The movie, if it ever gets made because Hollywood, will be live action. Or as live action as blockbusters get these days.
– Boxing legend Muhammad Ali passed away over the week at age 74 and various tributes came in from all across the spectrum. Out of our corner comes the time Ali stepped into the ring with Superman. “No, Superman. We are the greatest,” Ali says. No truer words were ever spoken.
– On Friday we asked: What Dark Horse title do you most associate with the publisher? Well, the results are in!
84% of voters immediately thought of Hellboy, the seminal Mike Mignola character that spawned one of the most interesting franchises in comics. 6% thought of “Concrete” while both “Sin City” and “Usage Yojimbo” were tied with 4% of the vote.
