Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.

-“The Wicked + the Divine” has been optioned for a television deal through Kelly Sue DeConnick and Matt Fraction’s studio, Milkfed Criminal Masterminds. The Kieron Gillen/Jamie McKelvie series has been captivating and crazy, and while this news is cool, I wonder how they’ll be able to capture the book’s frenetic energy on screen.

– George Miller is a filmmaker who’s always had a diverse and wide interest. Who else could have gone from Mad Max to The Witches of Eastwick to Babe: Pig in the City? But, like with anyone, he also has many unrealized movies to his name, including a Justice League adaptation. With the recent attention from Mad Max: Fury Road, information about his Justice League movie is starting to surface, including a bunch of production art. Ryan Unicomb, Aaron Cater, and Steven Caldwell are planning a documentary focusing on how this project fell through.

– Speaking of Mad Max: Fury Road: ComicsAlliance has collected a gallery of Furiosa drawings, featuring people like Jamie McKelvie, Becky Cloonan, and Emma Rios. What was the last character to spark the collective conscience so brightly?

– Another movie option: 20th Century Fox plans to bring “Lumberjanes” to the big screen. They’re pushing for a live action film and already have screenwriter, Will Wedger, attached to the project. My biggest fear with this is that Fox will push for a more sanitized and safe version of the material, undiversifying a diverse cast in the sake of a bigger budget. Nothing’s official yet, but here’s hoping something cool gets produced.

– IDW is trying to bring some more European comics stateside. They’ve had some success with Hugo Pratt’s “Corto Maltese” series, and now they’re going publish Carlos Sampayo and Jose Munoz’s “Alack Sinner” in two volumes later this year. It’s a noir/gumshoe thriller comic with brutal and stark art. I’m also glad IDW is trying to broaden our horizons.

– Valiant has announced the return of “Divinty” with “Divinity II”.  The original series “exceeded all expectations” and Valiant plans to bring it back in April 2016, along with Matt Kindt and Trevor Hairsine.

– In Webcomics Worth Clicking: Evan Dahm’s Overside epic has continually be gorgeous and brilliant. Start with “Rice Boy” before moving on to “Order of Tales” and “Vattu.” Part of the fun I had on my last read through was watching Dahm grow more and more assured and confident in his art with each issues. Even if you’ve read this already, it’s always worth checking out again. If you know of any webcomics worth checking out, please let us know in the comments.

– And finally, the results of our Friday Readers Poll are in. 43% of you think that bringing back the whole DC Multiverse will give us the best possible stories, while 18% of you disagreed, thinking that “Convergence” weakened the impact of “Crisis on Infinite Earls” and “Flashpoint,” among other DC events. 38% said you were just going to see where that takes you. Be sure to check on Friday for our next poll.
