Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– Last week we reported that an annual subscription to Viz Media’s Weekly Shonen Jump is on sale for $19.99, down from its usual $25.99. While that deal is absolutely enticing for new readers (200+ pages a week, for a year), it seems that Viz wanted to do a little something for their existing customers. WSJ subscribers should check their email for a coupon code that knocks the current sale price down to $15.99. So, as of this morning, I am now set to receive the world’s most popular manga anthology until July 2016.
– While the internet was buzzing about the Marvel Universe merging with the Ultimate Universe, a piece of news had no time in the spotlight: the Attack on Titan/Avengers crossover will see print in the US this May. And the best part? It’ll be free! That’s right, that giant running titan will make her way to New York and we’ll all be able to read about it in one of Marvel’s Free Comic Book Day releases.
– In other crossover news: Looks like there’s a Justice league/NBA All-Star comic that exists in the world. If you’ve ever wanted to see Shaq lift a car over his head, you’re in luck. But I’ll tell you right now there is zero dunking going on in this comic. Something something Wonder Woman something fundamentals.
– Dan DiDio says he wants the post-Convergence DCU to be a place where fans of any era of DC Comics can live together happily. Or something like that, TL;DR. All I’m focused on in Convergence is that Dan Abnett is writing a Flash comic.
– The live-action incarnation of Brian Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming’s “Powers” has gotten its release date. The first episode will begin streaming on the Playstation Network March 10, with new episodes becoming available every Tuesday. The first episode will be free for everyone, but it doesn’t look like anyone who’s not subscribed to the Playstation Network will get much mileage beyond that. Playstation Plus members will have access to the entire season at once.
