Welcome Back to Mine Multiversity: A Marvel Podcast! Each episode we’ll be looking at Marvel books, old and new! We discuss fun Marvel comics, Marvel news, Marvel history, and all our (probably) wrong predictions from 2022. (The icon this time is a sketch by Val Mayerik on a blank “Secret Wars” #1 variant.)

Make Mine Multiversity is a twice-monthly podcast that premieres on the first and third Friday of every month. It’s a chill hangout session that sadly meets more frequently than Elias’ D&D campaign.
2023 is here and that means it’s time for Elias and Jaina to litigate their 2022 predictions for Marvel. Who will win? Will there be another tie? And how disappointed with this make them? Oh, and we announced what the stakes are for our 2023 predictions. If Elias wins, we’re forced to read “Major X” by Rob Liefeld and if Jaina wins, we’ll be forced to read the “Captain America” arc ‘Castaway in Dimension Z’ by Rick Remender & John Romita Jr.
Next time, however, we’ve got more Eternals in a VERY weird set of books: “Heroes for Hire” (Vol. 1) #4-7 (from November 1997 – January 1998) and “The New Eternals: Apocalypse Now” (also known as Eternals: The New Breed) #1 (from February 2000.) You can find these issues collected in “Eternals: The Complete Saga Omnibus” and “Luke Cage, Iron Fist & the Heroes For Hire Vol. 1.” It may be easier to read on Marvel Unlimited though, if that is something you have access too. The episode should be accessible even if you don’t read the issues!
Shout off in the comment section below and get the conversation started or share them on Twitter (while it still exists) using the hashtag #MakeMineMultiversity. Elias can be found on Twitter @Quetzelish and Jaina @Rambling_Moose. Our theme music is “Excelsior” by Carol Romo.
The show is available on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, and other places so please subscribe! You can also listen above or download it here.
