Welcome Back to Mine Multiversity: A Marvel Podcast! Each episode we’ll be looking at Marvel books, old and new! We discuss fun Marvel comics, Marvel news, and Marvel history. Often we do all three at once, like this time!

Make Mine Multiversity is a twice-monthly podcast that premieres on the first and third Friday of every month. This is the secret that tore the Eternals apart.
Everything ends. But nothing ends quite how you think it will. Case and point: this is a two-parter! In part one, the Make Mine Multiversity crew tackles Kieron Gillen, Esad Ribić, Matthew Wilson, & Clayon Cowles’ “Eternals,” a twelve issue series with three specials (‘Celestia,’, ‘Thanos Rises,’ ‘The Heretic’) and a list of 101 Eternals names that was still ongoing when we started this whole thing! Can you believe that? We knew going in this would be our favorite but did it finally convince Jaina to like the Eternals?
That, my friends, would be spoilers.
Credit as well to Guiu Vilanova, Dustin Weaver, Kei Zama, Edgar Salazar, Livesay, Chris O’Halloran, and the late, great Ryan Bodenheim. You can find the issues wherever good comics are sold and in the three “Eternals” trades: “Only Death is Eternal,” “Hail Thanos,” and “A History Written in Blood”
Part 2, coming to a podcatcher near you in two weeks, we’ll be reading “Avengers. X-Men. Eternals: Judgment Day” and truly bringing this chapter to a close. The reading list is as follows, not quite in reading order:
“A.X.E.: Eve of Judgment,” “FCBD 2022: Avengers/X-Men” (6-page story), “A.X.E.: Judgment Day” #1-6 & Omega, “A.X.E.: Death to the Mutants” #1-3, “A.X.E.: Avengers,” “A.X.E.: X-Men,” “A.X.E.: Eternals,” & “A.X.E.: Starfox” One-Shots
The reading order kinda, sorta, goes like this:
Eve, FCBD, Judgment Day #1-2, DtM #1, Judgment Day #3, DtM #2 (can come after 4 too), Judgment Day #4-5
TIMELINE SPLIT: Avengers, X-Men, Eternals
TIMELINE SPLIT: DtM #3, Starfox
Back together: #6, Omega
Those issues are found in “A.X.E.: Judgment Day” and “A.X.E.: Judgment Day Companion.”
