Welcome back to Make Mine Multiversity: A Marvel Podcast! Each episode we’ll be looking at Marvel books, old and new, discussing those books, and also talking Marvel news, Marvel history and, sometimes, we’ll even have lists! I’d say we don’t have any this time, as it’s book club week, but, uh, well, lists find a way.
Make Mine Multiversity is a twice-monthly podcast that premieres on the first and third Friday of every month! Unless you’re still stuck in the Halacha Zone, in which case it’s always Shabbos afternoon.
In this episode, the Make Mine Multiversity book club is back, ready to transport you to Earth-70105, where things are the same, things are different, and one shift ripples out into the world. What If Iron Man wasn’t Tony Stank? What IF WWII had a different hero? What If Spider-Man was as creepy as the name sounded? Find out, dear readers, if YOU DARE. Or if you like listening to Jake and Elias make absolute fools of themselves.
Next month’s book club: twenty-five, count ’em, 25(!) issues of the 2004-2008 “Astonishing X-Men” run by Joss Wheadon & John Cassaday. That’s a lot of quips, a lot of X-drama and a whole lot of early 2000s to be wary of.
