Robots From Tomorrow podcast

After tackling the Green section last week, Mike and Greg turn their full attention to the front half of the Previews catalog for September 2016. Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Image, IDW… they may be deemed Premier publishers by Diamond, but are they bringing the goods this month? Will DC’s Gerard Way-headed “Doom Patrol” title be the breakout hit Young Animal needs? Where are the gotta-have-them-NOW books that used the set Image apart from the pack? Standing behind the astronauts, maybe? And is Civil War II the next event giving Marvel momentum at the cost of a burnt-out readership? It’s not all gloom and (Doctor) Doom, but talk gets real about what it means to be following Big Two books in 2016 on the second half of the July 2016 Previews double-header!

Greg Matiasevich

Greg Matiasevich has read enough author bios that he should be better at coming up with one for himself, yet surprisingly isn't. However, the years of comic reading his parents said would never pay off obviously have, so we'll cut him some slack on that. He lives in Baltimore, co-hosts (with Mike Romeo) the Robots From Tomorrow podcast, writes Multiversity's monthly Shelf Bound column dedicated to comics binding, and can be followed on Twitter at @GregMatiasevich.
