Another month, another “Previews” catalog to dissect! As always, Mike & Greg start things off with the diverse Green section, covering the majority of publishers in one fell swoop. What’s coming to comic shops in October (or later) that catches the lads’ fancies? Junji Ito’s Frankenstein! Disney Masters at Fantagraphics! Rolled & Told! Merry Men! Tillie Walden’s “On A Sunbeam”! The Queen of Kenosha! Mega Man Megamix! The Lewis/Ayden/Powell followup, “Run” – now with added Afua Richardson!

All that, plus the glory of the Saturday morning cartoon block, Mike & Greg’s favorite events from American Gladiators, comics by non-comics people, and more. Definitely something for everyone in the top half of this two-part “Previews” walkthrough!

Greg Matiasevich

Greg Matiasevich has read enough author bios that he should be better at coming up with one for himself, yet surprisingly isn't. However, the years of comic reading his parents said would never pay off obviously have, so we'll cut him some slack on that. He lives in Baltimore, co-hosts (with Mike Romeo) the Robots From Tomorrow podcast, writes Multiversity's monthly Shelf Bound column dedicated to comics binding, and can be followed on Twitter at @GregMatiasevich.
