Welcome back to the show! This episode we dive into some of the ECCC news from last week, the Eisner nominations, and Graphic.ly. There’s a fair amount of discussion about Rick Remender and the “Fear Agent” omnibus edition that was announced, as well as his “X-Force” run. For our comic reviews we discuss “Luther Strode”, “FF”, “Captain America: The Chosen”, and of course “AvX”.
Say, have you heard our last interview yet? Mike had the chance to chat it up with the creator of “Swallow Me Whole” and “Any Empire”, Nate Powell. They talked about his early days self publishing, his latest collaborative work “The Silence of Our Friends”, and the influence of real life on works of fiction. Even though Skype did its best to be uncooperative, this was an awesome talk.
