For today’s episode, Mike sits down with cartoonist Edwin Vazquez. Drawing influence by urban settings, Pre-Columbian history, tattoo art, sci-fi and classic horror, Edwin’s developed a unique voice for his personal work. Besides his sequentials and pin-ups, he’s worked for both Bongo Comics and Mad Magazine. There’s plenty of talk about all of this, plus some discussion about technique and process. You can catch some of Edwin’s work Saturday July 28 at Jinxed in Philadelphia. There will be work on display from over forty artists, and plenty of Sailor Jerry rum available for all who find themselves to be over 21.
