Archie has done a great job of adapting and changing over the past few years. While still making comics that feel like classic Archie, either in style or substance, they have also been pushing boundaries into horror, humor, and alternate universes. “Archie 1955” is the latter, with a retelling of Archie and co’s stories, as if they were happening at the dawn of rock n roll.

Our Rasheda had this to say about the first issue:

Augustyn and Waid captured the excitement of rock ‘n roll with the young crowd, sticking to Archie wanting a career in music that has long since been in the comics’ history.

We are thrilled to share this exclusive first look of the second issue of the title, which drops on October 30th, from the writing team from last year’s “Archie 1941,” Mark Waid and Brian Augustyn, and artist Tom Grummett (“Adventures of Superman,” “X-Men Forever).
