Christopher Priest, perhaps, had the best 2016 of any mainstream comics writer. After a long sabbatical, he signed on to write “Deathstroke” for DC, and took the industry by storm with his impossibly complex, smart, funny, and engaging storytelling. We were quite excited when this book was announced, as it brought Priest to another unexpected property, and let him do some serious world building. Add Phil Noto to the book, and it is a pretty clear must buy. That’s why we are absolutely thrilled to share an exclusive first look at the issue, which is due out on August 9.
