Reader Poll Results: “Uncanny” It Is

On Friday, we asked our readers will of the three announced ‘From the Ashes’ X-Men titles sounded most appealing to them. This was a rare poll with just three options, but our readers clearly had strong opinions about one of these titles over the others, though it was nice to see all three titles enthusiastically anticipated.

In first place was “Uncanny X-Men” by Gail Simone and David Marquez. It seems absolutely insane that there has not been a female writer on “Uncanny” before (save a few guest issues), and it seems fitting that it is Simone, one of the finest writers of her generation. 53.5% of our readers voted for “Uncanny.”

Behind that was two closer options: “X-Men” by Jed MacKay and Ryan Stegman received 27.9% of the vote, with “Exceptional X-Men” by Eve Ewing and Carmen Carnero getting 18.6%.

Check back on Friday for our next Reader Poll, and stay tuned for more ‘From the Ashes’ creative teams to be announced in the coming weeks/months.
