New York City Comic Con may have happened more than a month ago but Multiversity Comics’s coverage of the East Coast’s largest comics and pop culture event is just getting going. Multiversity sent 14 of our staff to the event this year for interviews, panel reports, and more so expect lots more to come over the next few weeks. This way, even if you couldn’t make it yourself, you can still see the con through our eyes.

Vault Comics has been putting out stellar and thoughtful sci-fi/fantasy comics for a few years now but it wasn’t until there was a chill in the air that found the space to approach another staple of this medium we call comics: horror. To do this, Vault launched “Nightfall,” their horror imprint, of which the first two titles are out now: “Black Stars Above” and the one we’re here to talk about today, “The Plot,” by Joshua Hixon, Jordan Boyd, Jim Campbell, Tim Daniel, and Michael Moreci. Tim and Michael, the writers for this flagship horror book, graciously took the time to discuss it, and their writing process, with Elias.

Thanks to Mike and Tim for talking the time to chat at NYCC. You can follow them both on Twitter (@TimDanielComics + @MichaelMoreci), and make sure to pick up “The Plot” #3 when it hits stores next week.

Elias is a lover of stories who, when he isn't writing reviews for Mulitversity, is hiding in the stacks of his library. Co-host of Make Mine Multiversity, a Marvel podcast, after winning the no-prize from the former hosts, co-editor of The Webcomics Weekly, and writer of the Worthy column, he can be found on Twitter (for mostly comics stuff) here and has finally updated his profile photo again.
