The winners of the 2020 Harvey Awards have been announced. Unlike previous years when the awards have been presented at a physical iteration of New York Comic Con, a virtual ceremony will officially award the winners at the online edition of New York Comic Con and MCM Comic Con’s Metaverse, with Vivek Tiwary hosting on October 9. The nominees and winners (highlighted in bold) of the 2020 Harvey Awards are as follows:

Osamu Tezuka, a Japanese manga artist best known for “Astro Boy,” “Princess Knight,” and “Black Jack.” He died at the age of 60 in 1989.
Jill Thompson, an American illustrator best known for her series “Scary Godmother” and her work on “The Sandman.”
Denys Cowan, Derek T. Dingle, Michael Davis, and the late Dwayne McDuffie, the founding members of Milestone Media.
