Bringing back what CBR calls “one of Marvel’s oddest characters” back into the fold, “Infinity Countdown: Darkhawk” writers Chris Sims and Chad Bowers, (the latter a Multiversity Comics alum) will team up with artist Todd Nauck (“Spider-Man/Deadpool”) for “Infinity Wars: Sleepwalker.” Created by Bob Budiansky and Bret Blevins, Sleepwalker first appeared in “Sleepwalker” #1 in 1991.

For those unfamiliar with this ’90s character, Sleepwalker is the protector of the ‘Mindscape,’ a world in between the dreams of humans. After his arch-enemy Cobweb, tricks him, Sleepwalker becomes attached to the mind of Rick Sheridan. Now whenever Rick goes to sleep, Sleepwalker can materialize in reality and fight crime.

Sims, Bowers, and Nauck’s new miniseries will explore how the events in “Infinity Wars” have radically changed the Mindscape and see Sleepwalker face new threats from Marvel’s cosmic event. The first two issues of “Infinity Wars: Sleepwalker” will be in comic book stores in October. Until then, check out the full solicitation below:

INFINITY WARS: SLEEPWALKER #1 & #2 (of 4)

Deep in the mind of man, in the ephemeral realm of dreams, he dwells…the Sleepwalker! Lurking on the fringes of our unconsciousness, he protects the Mindscape from entities that threaten to tear our very minds apart…but when all of reality becomes warped by the unbridled power of the Infinity Stones, how will he continue to protect the world?

This fall, join Chris Sims and Chad Bowers (Infinity Countdown: Darkhawk, X-Men ’92) along with artist Todd Nauck (Spider-Man/Deadpool, X-Men: The Wedding Special) for an all-new spellbinding tale, as one of Marvel’s most unique heroes returns—to a Mindscape utterly transformed by the reality-warping madness of INFINITY WARS!

SLEEPWALKER #1 and #2 arrive in comic shops this October!
