In case you missed it, we covered:
– Marvel’s reveal that the New Fantastic Four will return in “Fantastic Four” #22, one of many new “Empyre” tie-ins announced yesterday.
– Dark Horse’s new “Hellboy” one-shot, “Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: Her Fatal Hour,” which will feature two short stories by Mike Mignola, Tiernen Trevallion, and Dave Stewart.
– The announcement of “Dead Body Road: Bad Blood,” a six-issue sequel to the 2014 series “Dead Body Road.”
– Paul Dini, Alan Burnett, and Ty Templeton’s return to the world of Batman: The Animated Series, in the six-issue, digital first “Batman: The Adventures Continue.”
– And DC’s stealth announcement of “Generation One: Age of Mysteries,” which will begin a five-issue series chronicling the DCU’s latest timeline (and spin out of Free Comic Book Day’s “Generation Zero”).
– Plus we have exclusive previews of “Firefly” #14, “Joker: Killer Smile” #3, and “Machine Man 2020” #1.

And because it was a busy day, this is the news we didn’t quite get to:
– Grand Central Publishing is releasing a graphic novel version of recent Oscar-winner Parasite. Described as “a graphic novel in storyboards,” the book will feature director Bong Joon Ho’s original storyboards and release May 19.
– The Beat showed off a preview of Statix Press’s new-to-English fantasy-adventure series “Cutting Edge.” Written by Francesco Dimitri and illustrated by Mario Alberti, the series features “shadowy corporations, and a deadly contest between the greatest minds of the modern era.” The English version releases this May.
– The Hollywood Reporter announced IDW’s “Sea of Sorrows,” a historical horror miniseries from “Road of Bones” team Rich Douek and Alex Cormack. The book, which starts in May, is set in the immediate aftermath of World War I, and follows the crew of a ship hired to search for treasure in a sunken U-boat. – DC renewed its exclusive contracts with both Jesús Merino (“Wonder Woman”) and Evan “Doc” Shaner (“Strange Adventures”), according to Newsarama.
– In other DC news, Newsarama also reported that DC’s new “Birds of Prey” miniseries and the last two issues of “Inferior Five” have been postponed to later-than-expected release dates.
– In Marvel movie news, Eternals was confirmed to include the MCU’s first on-screen gay kiss (according to SYFY), and Avengers: Endgame is set to clean up at this year’s Kids’ Choice Awards (according to The Hollywood Reporter).
– And finally, we got a first look at Robert Pattinson’s Bat-Suit, as The Batman director Matt Reeves shared a camera test from the production.
