In case you missed it, “Aquaman” and “Justice League” are crossing over to explore the ‘Drowned Earth’ on October 31st, and Dark Horse is launching a God of War prequel comic.

– Upcoming “Uncanny X-Men” co-writer Matthew Rosenberg shared his take on the November-launching series, saying fans should expect to “see someone you weren’t expecting.” The Marvel.com interview also debuted Leinil Yu and Edgar Delgado’s cover to “Uncanny X-Men” #1.
– Meanwhile, Marvel executive editor Tom Brevoort revealed the Baxter Building’s got squatters, which will be the subject of November’s “Fantastic Four” #4. Click over to Marvel.com to get a look at new four-member super group the Fantastix, brought to life by Esad Ribic.
– Newsarama reports that Warren Ellis and Jon Davis-Hunt’s “The Wild Storm” will take a brief hiatus after October’s issue 18, allowing the series to maintain a monthly schedule after it starts up again.
– AfterShock Comics are making the remainder of their 2018 premieres fully returnable, according to The Beat. “The comic shop retail community has been asking for an incentive program like this from us for a while,” said AfterShock’s Publisher and CCO, Joe Pruett. “We’re happy that we’re at a point in our growth as a company where we can oblige.” BOOM!, Dark Horse, and DC also all currently offer some form of first issue returnability, according to The Beat’s article.
– Scandal‘s Kerry Washington plans to star in and executive produce a drama based on BOOM!’s “Old City Blues,” a story about Grecian police operating in the year 2048. The series is in development at Hulu, says The Hollywood Reporter.
– Star Trek: Discovery has found its Mr. Spock in actor Ethan Peck (10 Things I Hate About You). StarTrek.com broke the news and showed off a picture of Peck celebrating with Leonard Nimoy’s family.
– In other casting news, Crazy Rich Asians star Remy Hii has been tagged to join Spider-Man: Far From Home in a mystery role, according to The Wrap.
– And finally, Big Hero 6‘s Baymax will feature in a new series of shorts from Disney Television Animation. The Hollywood Reporter has more information on the shorts, which will be collectively titled Baymax Dreams and debut on Sept. 15.
