In case you missed it, Dead Reckoning announced “The Stringbags” and we interviewed George Wylesol about “Internet Crusader.”

— Goran Parlov tweeted that he suffered a stroke on October 28, which evidently affected the left side of his body (Parlov is right handed) and forced him to cancel an upcoming appearance at this weekend’s Festival del Manga & Comic-Can on the Canary Islands. With a smiling selfie, Parlov let fans know that he is recovering well and will begin rehab soon. We wish him a speedy and full recovery!
— IDW has pushed back the first issue of “ROM: Dire Wraiths” to January 8, 2020, 3 months later than its originally scheduled October release date. The second issue will debut January 29, and the third has not yet been finalized. IDW did not give a reason for the change.
— Mobile comic platform Tapas and Vault Comics have announced a partnership to adapt four of the publisher’s titles into digital comics that can be read on phones. The deal includes “Heathen,” which will hit the platform first in January 2020, “Songs for the Dead” and its sequel “The Necromancer’s Map,” as well as “Sera and the Royal Stars.” Tapas previously partnered with BOOM! Studios to develop a mobile-friendly version of “Heavy Vinyl: Riot on the Radio.”
— London’s Orbital Comics will stop selling new weekly comics, according to Bleeding Cool. Orbital Comics has no plans to shutter its doors, but this change potentially marks a new direction for the popular comic book shop.
— Britain’s “Political Pocket Cartoon of the Year” nominees for 2019 have been announced, including several comics focused on Brexit. Fans can vote for their favorite on the website for Ellwood Atfield, the PR agency that hosts the annual awards.
— Finally, Daniel Cudmore has joined the cast of Helstrom, the Hulu series based on the Marvel comic of the same name. He will play Keith Spivey, a nurse at the hospital where Daimon and Ana Helstrom’s mother, Victoria, has been institutionalized for 20 years.
