Well, you knew it was bound to happen at some point. After a few weeks of new faces galore on the list we have the return of some mainstay list powerhouses. Who returns and who makes their first appearance on the list? Click the jump and check it out.
While the art itself is nothing mind blowing the cover itself is fantastic. It really plays up the pulpy sci-fi feel and really compliments the whole book itself. I loved everything about this book, from the cover to the material on which it was printed. If you didn’t buy this book you are doing yourself a huge disservice.
This is a very simple yet haunting piece. With Cable’s funeral being held within the covers of this book having his rather dead stare glaring back at you is rather poignant.
This cover matches the title oh so well. This IS sex and violence and it looks very well done. From both individuals having their weapons drawn down to the reflection of the two in the background this is a very raw piece.
Great group shot of the X-Men. It is one of those pieces that were the background of my computer for a long stretch of time. It is a beautiful thing to look at day in and day out. It’s amazing to look at a piece like this and look back at a piece like X-Men #1 done by Jim Lee and think about just how different the X-Men are nowadays.
Well there you have it. After some time off the list Granov makes his return while Finch tries to keep pace. We also saw the first entries for both Morse and Dellotto. Thanks for reading and I’ll see you all next week.
