Not a strong week for covers. I’m not going to lie. Some decent stuff but compared to covers from other weeks the covers from this week would probably not make the list. Having hyped this list up this much how could you not come to see what I brought to the table this week?

Can anyone else say creepy ass shit?! Love it. Really cool stuff that makes me want to go find this book and see what it’s about. Add to that it’s a book written by David Hine and it becomes even more enticing an idea.

Anyway I dig this cover and the blood all over these pretend heroes. It’s very foreboding and dark. Reminds me of the episode of Lost where Locke has the vision of Book saying Theresa goes up the stairs, Theresa goes down the stairs. Adi Granov is a fantastic cover artist and only proves that point further with this cover.
Great action shot of the All Star team. Anyone else feel the other team should be the All Stars? This is more like the JSA Rookie team isn’t it? Either way I enjoy this cover. It drives me nuts that Freddie’s work is so hit or miss for me. This is a definite hit but things like his run on Robin I felt were miserable. He seems to have found his groove though on this title and it’s covers.
