Burpee’s Got You Covered!

This cover reminds of this time where I drank too much on St Patricks Day. Man that was a crazy ass night.

Haven’t read a single issue of this title and I know as far as this site goes that’s a capital offense. I just don’t dig the way Beast is drawn under the cover. This cover though has such an amazing acid trip style that you can’t help but spend some time looking at it.

I like the idea of Cyclops as a chess master just moving his pieces behind the scene. I think he’s is such a tactician that this is truly an iconic picture for him. It isn’t the best of the week by any means but it truly is an enjoyable cover. Plus, I love me some Kubert!

I have no interest in the series but this cover is fantastic. It has the real western six-shooter hang em high vibe. The hanging man coming from the barrel of the gun is such a sinister aesthetic. This cover is very dark and chilling but all together a masterpiece.

When it comes to covers The Unwritten has some of the most unique covers on the shelves. No two covers are a like and all of them have stood out from the rest of the books out there. This one’s colors and imagery draw the eye in and the eye is forced to inspect every detail of it. Basic color scheme but the basic nature of the colors helps to make it such a striking cover.

This is one of those covers where I really can’t explain why I like it. I just do. I like the p.o.v. of it. I enjoy seeing Batman rising and his companions staring on in horror and awe. I also just really enjoy Quietly’s work. It was my favorite cover of the week hands down.
