Multiversity’s Got You Covered: Best Covers of May

It’s been another month of comics, and with that, I’m back to share the best comic covers of the month. You’d think with five weeks of releases we’d have more high quality covers, but, like the comics inside of them, the covers were on a bit of a downturn this month.

That said, there were plenty of fantastic examples, not the least of which was Yuko Shimizu’s phenomenal cover to “The Unwritten” #37. That one earns covers of the month this month for its beautiful color palette, the story told in one singular image, the usage of white space, and oh so much more. Most of all though, it’s just a gorgeous cover that does everything you want out of the lead image for a book. Splendid work from Yuko, as per usual.
