At CBR, Valiant Comics have announced four new titles rolling out under the banner name of ‘Valiant Beyond’ from September.

First up that month is “Faith: Dreamside,” a new limited series starring Faith “Zephyr” Herbert by returning writer Jody Houser, and artist M.J. Kim (“Faith’s Winter Wonderland Special” #1). In this series, Faith’s friend and teammate Animalia is having troubling nightmares, and she will team up with Dr. Mirage to enter her mind and find the underlying causes of these terrible dreams.

Next up is “Bloodshot: Rising Spirit,” which is the only ongoing comic on this slate. Lonnie Nadler and Zac Thompson (“Her Infernal Descent“) will take over from “Bloodshot Salvation” scribe Jeff Lemire on writing the character’s monthly adventures, with Ken Lashley (“X-Men Gold”) on art. The series will see Bloodshot discovering there’s much more to the titular project that gave him his superpowers than he first thought…

“Livewire,” which starts in December, is written by Vita Ayala (“The Wilds“) with art by Raul Allen and Patricia Martin (“Secret Weapons“), and marks the character’s first ever solo comic. The limited series will see the electrokinetic heroine reckoning with her actions in this summer’s “Harbinger Wars 2” (which wraps up with an epilogue issue in September), and determining how to move on.

Then in February 2019 comes “Incursion,” written by Andy Diggle (“Shadowman“) with art by Doug Braithwaite (“X-O Manowar”). The event series will sees the denizens of the Deadside, a realm filled with the souls of the deceased and far older, fouler things, seemingly becoming our last hope when another alien dimension begins to intrude on our world.
