2019 Ringo Award Winners Announced

The third annual Ringo Awards were held at the Baltimore Comic Con last night, honoring the best comics of 2018. Webtoon dominated the Fan Favorite Awards, with three wins for “Toaster Dude,” “Luff,” and “Age Matters” creator Enjelicious. In the Jury and Fan Winners categories, “Black Hammer: Age of Doom” and “The Immortal Hulk” tied for Best Series, while “Saga” creators Fiona Staples and Brian K. Vaughan won three awards for Best Cover Artist, Best Inker, and Best Writer.

“Saga” publisher Image also won Best Anthology and Best Non-Fiction Comic Work for “Where We Live, A Benefit for the Survivors in Las Vegas,” while Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips won Best Original Graphic Novel and Best Artist for “My Heroes Have Always Been Junkies.” Courtesy of Tripwire magazine, here is the full list of this year’s winners:
